Questions people ask us

Do you take on small jobs?
Yes. A rotten verandah post, a new gate, a re-deck or a bathroom refresh are normal work for us. If a job is not the right fit, we will tell you who to call instead.
Which areas do you cover?
All of Cairns and the northern beaches, south to Gordonvale and north to Port Douglas. Further afield by arrangement. See the full list on the contact page.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. MLS Projects FNQ Pty Ltd holds QBCC licence 15549375, covering building work and the trade classes of carpentry, joinery, sheds, carports and garages, roof and wall cladding, fascias and gutters, structural landscaping and hard floor coverings. We carry $20 million public liability insurance and are members of Master Builders Queensland. Licensed plumbers, electricians and waterproofers work alongside us and their certificates come with the job. Where a job needs drawings, engineering or certification, we take care of it.
